
Ducks Stay Undefeated

EUGENE, Ore. — Oregon continued its unbeaten start to the season with a 4–0 victory over Portland State on Sunday at the Student Tennis Center.
The Ducks improved to 5–0 on the year by securing the doubles point and earning three straight-set singles wins before the remaining matches went unfinshed.
Oregon took control early in doubles play. Cameron Burton and Lachlan Robertson earned a 6–4 win at No. 2, and Vlad Breazu and Declan Galligan followed with a 7–5 victory at No. 3 to clinch the opening point. The No. 1 doubles match between Matthew Burton and Pierre Mouesca and Portland State's Edoardo Cravanzola and Maas Schotanus was left unfinished.
In singles, Breazu made quick work at the top of the lineup, defeating Luca Prino 6–1, 6–1 at No. 1. Will Semler provided the clinching point with a 6–2, 6–4 win over Hampus Hagglund at No. 6. Russell Soohoo added Oregon's third singles victory, topping Cravanzola 6–1, 6–4 at No. 4.
Matches at Nos. 2, 3 and 5 singles were in progress when the dual was decided.
