Men's Tennis Signs Kohshi Ishibashi

EUGENE, Ore. — Oregon men's tennis Head Coach Nils Schyllander has announced the signing of Kohshi Ishibashi, one of Japan's top junior players.
Ishibashi, a native of Kashiwa, Japan, arrives in Eugene with an impressive international résumé. He is ranked among the top three junior players in Japan and has achieved a career-high International Tennis Federation (ITF) junior world ranking of No. 94.
Ishibashi has competed on some of tennis' biggest junior stages, including appearances in the junior draws of the U.S. Open and the Australian Open. His experience in Grand Slam-level competition will help him impact the program soon after he arrives on campus.
