
4-3 Match Goes to Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. - Oregon dropped a 4-3 match at Nebraska Sunday, with the Ducks unable to capitolize on an early 1-0 lead.
Oregon won the doubles point after a 6-4 win from Lachlan Robertson and Cameron Burton on court three and a 7-6 victory from Matthew Burton and Pierre Mouesca on court one.
The Ducks thenpicked up two early singles victories, as Vlad Breazu defeated Nebraska's Nikolay Sysoev 6-3, 6-2 and Pierre Mouesca earned a 6-4, 6-0 win over Jeri Lassila.
Nebraska, however, secured the remaining four singles matches to clinch the match. Colson Wells topped Oregon's Sam Olszakowski, while Joan Torres Espinosa added another point with a win over Lachlan Robertson, and Henry Lamchinniah defeated Russell Soohoo.Niels Van Der Sijs beat Matthew Burton in the deciding match, a three-set win for the Cornhuskers.
