Perich Named To Hornung Award Watch List

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Oregon defensive back Koi Perich was announced on Monday as one of 39 players on the preseason watch list for the 2026 Paul Hornung Award, presented to the nation's most versatile player.Â
Earlier this month, Perich was named to the preseason watch list for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, and he was also one of 12 players on the Big Ten Preseason Honors list.Â
Perich is entering his first season at Oregon after impressing at Minnesota over the last two seasons. The Esko, Minn., native shined in all phases of the game for Minnesota, starring on defense while also contributing on both offense and special teams.Â
