One of two seniors back for Ducks in 2006-07 and entered fall ranked second overall among returnees with her 76.20 career average and tops among upperclassmen. In fall 2006 slate, tied school record for best round with her 4-under 67 in Stanford stop.
Fall 2006: Led team in the final two stops of the fall slate, the Stanford Intercollegiate (seventh, 211) and Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational (12th, 226). Shot a school record – four-under 67 – in her final round of the season at Stanford. Led the team in six of the fall’s 12 rounds, including four that were at par or better. Ranked first on team in scoring average (74.8). Closed season ranked 169th nationally in the Sagarin/GolfWeek Index and during season edged five players that were ranked top-25 nationally.
2005-06: Missed spring campaign because of a back injury. In the fall, ranked second on team in scoring average (75.7) and ranked 152nd nationally (76.02). Was team’s top placer twice in the fall in the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational (19th-tie, 229) and Stanford Pepsi Intercollegiate (27th, 220), and ranked third on team in OSU Invitational (18th-tie, 228) and Las Vegas Founders Collegiate (55th-tie, 231). In individual rounds, carded UO’s low scores in the Edean Ihlanfelt Invitational and Stanford Pepsi Intercollegiate with her even-par 72 and two-under 70 middle rounds.
2004-05: Ranked second on team in scoring average (75.4) and best among non-seniors. Finished top-10 for squad in three events and added three more top-25 efforts. Led Ducks in NCAA Fall Preview (48th-t, 224), Kent Youel Invitational (8th, 219), Pinehurst Challenge (ninth, 233) and Duck Invitational (third-t, 220). Altogether, scored for squad in all 12 season dates, and ranked second on team in five contests, and third and fourth once each. Shot a season low round of 69 in the Duck Invitational, and had rounds of 72 or better in three of the first fall events. In summer, won 96th annual Oregon Amateur title at Pumpkin Ridge over Vanderbilt's Kristen Svicarovich, 3 & 1.
2003-04: Freshman made an immediate impact with the fourth-best scoring average on the team (77.6). Played in all 10 events with five top-25 finishes. Placed in the top 40 in seven of 10 events. After tying for 24th at the Lady Vandal Fall Invitational, recorded her first of three top-15 finishes at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational where she tied for 15th (76-75-77-228). Followed that with a tie for 33rd at Stanford where she shot a season-low round (74). Best finish of the season came at the Duck invitational where she tied for 13th (83-74-79-236) and matched her season low round of 74. Tied for 15th at the Santa Clara Colby Invitational (75-77-152). Best performance of the year came at the Pac-10 Championships where she tied for 21st (78-75-82-235). It was the highest finish by an Oregon freshman at the conference tournament since Pam Sowden tied for 20th in 1997. Capped collegiate season with debut in NCAA West Regional (96th-tie, 81-83-81-245).
Prep: Won the individual NorCal championship as a senior at Union Mine High School in El Dorado, Calif. Also won section and sub-section titles. Four-year team MVP for coach Chad McGowen. On the 2002 Northern California junior tour, won five tournaments and finished second three times. Tied for 15th at the 2002 national junior amateur championships. As a junior at El Dorado, set a Castle Oaks Golf Course record with a 67 while winning the 2001 Sierra Valley Conference championship. Finished fourth at the NorCal tournament.
Personal: Parents are Tom and Ellen McCready. One younger brother. Honor roll and California Scholarship Federation member. Lists drawing as a hobby. Major is Community Education.
