Was one of three Duck freshmen that competed for Oregon in 2006-07. Tried out for team in November 2006, and officially joined squad winter term 2007.
2006-07: Joined team in winter, and played two spring events. Registered highest overall finish in Oregon Invitational at Shadow Hills Country Club (53rd-tie, 251). Also played as an individual in the Baja Classic to open the spring (89th-tie, 179).
Prep: Nevada 3A state championships runner-up in 2003, and won regional in 2004. Tournament of Champions participant in 2005 and ?06. Was a Nevada 3A all-division first-team honoree in 2003, ?04 and ?05. Won the Las Vegas Review Journal’s All-Sports Award for the women's golf category in 2003. Four-year golf letterwinner for Coach Gina Quintero and posted a best score of 70 in the ?05 season. National Honor Society member. Honors degree recipient.
Personal: Music major. Danced with the Boulder City Ballet Company from 1998-2006 and was a member of the Las Vegas Youth Philharmonic in 2003-04 and 2005-06. Parents are Richard and Christine. Two older brothers.
