Track & Field Alumni Invited Back for 2006 Pac-10 Championships
EUGENE - With the arrival of the Pac-10 Track and Field Championships this Sat.-Sun., May 13-14, UO track and field alumni are strongly encouraged to sign up in advance for a special Homecoming Celebration, so everybody can take full advantage of this special opportunity to reconnect with teammates, coaches, and friends, and to meet this year’s Oregon track and field team.
A special homecoming seating section will be set aside in the west grandstands for Duck track and field alumni, special gifts for participating alumni will be given out, and a Saturday evening reception with delicious food and drink will bring together generations of former Duck track and field athletes after the first day's action is complete.
As the Ducks chase individual and team titles, Track Town USA looks forward to large, enthusiastic crowds to inspire UO's own to great performances. This special homecoming event will also rekindle Oregon's proud track and field heritage at the biggest home meet of the 2006 season.
