Made 14 appearances as a true freshman, including 10 starts … Part of the rotation during opening weekend … Went 3-4 with a 7.43 ERA while allowing 43 runs (38 earned) on 57 hits in 46.0 innings pitched with 34 strikeouts and 28 base on balls … vs. Xavier (Feb. 18): Picked up first career win in first career start ... Allowed two unearned runs on six hits with six Ks and no walks ... vs. UC Santa Barbara (Feb. 25): Took the loss in the first game of a doubleheader allowing four runs (3 earned) on seven hits in 4.0 innings with a season-high five Ks and two walks ... vs. San Diego (March 3): Did not factor in the decision while pitching effectively over 5.1 innings ...
