2026 SEASON
Put together one of the best seasons by an Oregon reliever joining Jimmie Sherfy (2012, 2013) and Kenyon Yovan (2017) as the only finalists for the NCBWA Stopper of the Year Award in program history … Named an All-American by six separate organizations while also claiming first-team All-Big Ten Conference honors … A first-team All-America pick by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), while earning second-team honors from D1Baseball, Baseball America and Perfect Game … Finished the season 5-1 with a 1.66 ERA and one save … Allowed just 12 runs (10 earned) on 25 hits in 54.1 innings of work while striking out 84 with just 19 walks … Held opposing hitters to a .137 batting average, tied for the second best in program history … Made 31 appearances on the mound, the fourth most in the Big Ten Conference and the 12th most in the nation … 84 strikeouts ranked 10th in the Big Ten … The only pitcher in Division I with 84-or-more strikeouts while pitching less than 55 innings … In Big Ten Conference play, finished 4-1 with a 3.12 ERA and one save … Fanned 38 in 26.0 innings while allowing 11 runs (9 earned) on just 14 hits with nine walks … Held opposing B1G hitters to a .157 batting average …In Oregon’s eight postseason games, tossed 10.0 inning finishing with a 0.90 ERA while allowing just one run on four hits with 15 Ks and only two walks … Held opposing hitters to a .125 batting average in the postseason … Made multiple appearances in eight separate series as well as the Big Ten Tournament and the Eugene Regional Tournament … Fanned five-or-more batters in five different relief appearances including a career-best nine … vs. George Mason (Feb. 13): Tossed two scoreless innings while striking out one in UO’s season-opening 6-2 win … vs. Youngstown State (Feb. 20): Did not allow a run while striking out three and walking three in 2.1 innings in a 3-0 win … vs. Arizona (Feb. 27): Named to the all-tournament team at the Live Like Lou Las Vegas College Baseball Classic after tossing a then career-high 4.1 innings in a 7-2 win … Picked up first career win after fanning a career-high nine Wildcats while walking just one and allowing three hits while tossing a career-high 69 pitches … vs. Xavier (March 10): Struck out three in 2.0 innings of work in a 10-0 win … vs. Indiana (March 13-15): Made a pair of appearances in a series for the first time in career … Gave up a pair of unearned runs in four innings in the series while fanning four in two outings … Held the Hoosiers to a .154 batting average … Picked up the win in game one after taking the mound with the game tied in the seventh inning with runners at the corners and two outs … Enticed a ground ball to get out of the frame without any damage done … After the Ducks took the lead with a run in the bottom of the inning, struck out the side in the eighth after yielding a leadoff single … Finished game one tossing 1.1 innings with three Ks in a 3-2 win … Allowed a pair of runs on just one hit in 2.2 innings in a 7-6 series-sweep clinching win in the finale … vs. Northwestern (March 20-22): Made appearances on back-to-back days for the first time during career … Fanned five in 2.1 combined innings helping Oregon split games two and three of the series in a UO series win … Entered game two to begin the top of the eighth with a two-run lead … Stranded runners at the corners in the eighth after getting a strikeout to end the threat … Struck out two in an inning of work in a 6-4 win … Did not allow a run in 1.1 innings in the series finale while striking out three … at UC San Diego (March 25): Struck out two while recording a 1-2-3 eighth inning on just 10 pitches in a 12-4 win … at UC Santa Barbara (March 27-29): Made two appearances in a series win … Struck out four in a combined three scoreless innings of work while holding the Gauchos to a .100 batting average … Retired three of four batters faced with a strikeout in a scoreless eighth inning in a 4-0 win in game one … Struck out three in two scoreless innings in a series-clinching 2-0 win in the finale … Entered the game with a 1-0 lead to start the bottom of the seventh … Worked around a one-out double in the seventh striking out the last two hitters to get out of the inning … Retired the Gauchos in order in the eighth before giving way to closer Devin Bell in the ninth … at Michigan (April 2-4): Pitched on back-to-back days for the second time … Fanned three in a combined 2.1 innings of work while allowing a run on three hits … Tossed two scoreless innings with four Ks in a 5-2 game-two win … Entered in the top of the seventh inning with a one-run lead … Retired the Wolverines in order in the seventh with a pair of Ks … Fanned two more in the eighth stranding a base runner at second with a strike out to end the inning … at Portland (April 8): Struck out three in 1.1 innings … Struck out a pair in a 1-2-3 fourth inning … vs. #19 Nebraska (April 10-12): Made a pair of appearances in a series win combining to toss 3.1 innings of hitless ball with five strikeouts in a pair of Oregon one-run wins … Struck out two in a 1-2-3 seventh inning in a 7-6 game-one victory … Picked up the win in a 5-4 series-clinching victory in the finale … Struck out three in 2.1 innings of work while not allowing a hit or a run … Entered the game in the third with Oregon trailing 4-2 and stranded an inherited runner … After giving up a two out walk in the fourth, retired four of the final five batters faced with one hitter reaching on an error … at Illinois (April 17-19): Made appearances in a pair of Ducks’ wins … Combined to fan four in three innings of work … at #6 Oregon State (April 22): Struck out three in 1.1 innings in a 7-3 win … Inherited a two-on, two-out situation in a 3-1 game in the bottom of the sixth … Got out of the jam by getting first batter faced to ground out … After giving up a leadoff single in the seventh, struck out the next three batters faced to finish outing … vs. Penn State (April 24): Picked up the win after tossing two scoreless innings with five Ks in a 5-4 Ducks’ victory … vs. Gonzaga (April 28): Struck out three in an inning of work in a 4-3 win … at Washington (May 1): Picked up first career save tossing two scoreless innings with a pair of strikeouts … Retired the Huskies in order in both the eighth and ninth innings … at #1 UCLA (May 8-10): Made appearances on back-to-back days in games two and three of the series … Picked up the win in a 9-6 game-two victory … Did not allow a run over 2.1 innings of work … Entered the game with two outs and a runner on in the seventh inning … Got out of the inning with a ground out … Got out of an eighth-inning jam after walking a pair enticing a double play and then getting the final out with a fly out … Finished off the Bruins with a 1-2-3 ninth inning … vs. #17 USC (May 14): Struck out five while allowing one run on one hit over 4.0 innings of work … at Big Ten Tournament (March 22-24): Made a pair of appearances against a pair of nationally-ranked opponents … Fanned five over four combined innings while allowing a run on two hits … Held opposing hitters to a .167 batting average … vs. #20 Nebraska (May 23): Tossed 2.0 scoreless innings while allowing just one hit and fanning three in an 8-0 win … Entered the game in the strikes … vs. #8 Oregon State (May 31): Tossed a scoreless inning while striking out two in a 4-1 win in the championship game of the tournament … Stranded a pair in the eighth inning, getting the final out with a strikeout … at Austin Super Regional (June 6-7): Struck out five in 3.1 scoreless innings against No. 6 Texas … Surrendered just one hit and one walk during the outing … Entered the 2025 SEASON
Made four appearances out of the bullpen with three of them coming in the final 11 games … Did not allow a run, a hit or a walk in the four outings while striking out six in 5.0 innings of work … vs. Columbia (March 1): Tossed a scoreless eighth inning picking up first career strikeout in Oregon’s 35-1 win … vs. Saint Mary’s (May 7): Made first appearance in 67 days (38 games) getting the final five outs in an 8-1 win while fanning a season-hit two in the effort … vs. Nebraska (May 24): Got Oregon’s final out in the Big Ten Tournament striking out the only batter faced … vs. Utah Valley (May 30): Pitched a season-high two innings holding UVU scoreless in the eighth and ninth innings of the Eugene Regional game … Fanned a pair of Wolverines in the outing.

The No. 27 ranked right-handed pitcher and No. 85 overall player in California according to Perfect Game … Helped Cardinal Newman to a CIF Northern Regional Championship in 2024 … As a senior, hit .356 with 36 hits, 19 RBI and two home runs … Finished 2-0 on the mound, recording two saves … Made 11 appearances, posting a 0.49 ERA … As a junior, made four appearances on the mound and picked up a win … Struck out 18 in 11 innings … Finished with a 1.91 ERA … Posted a .308 batting average in eight games at the plate … As a sophomore, pitched 15 innings, fanning 17 … Finished 1-2 and posted a 4.67 ERA … High school coach was Derek Benedetti.
