Appeared in 37 games while making 24 starts for the Ducks in her rookie season...Took over the starting center spot on Jan. 1 against Washington State and held on to it for the rest of the season...Posted three double-doubles, including 13 points and 10 rebounds in the Ducks' NCAA Tournament first round win over Temple...Also tallied 11 points and 12 rebounds at Ole Miss on Dec. 14 plus a season-high 16 points and 11 rebounds at No. 10 Stanford on Jan. 6...Averaged 7.3 points, 4.2 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game...Blocked a season-high four shots in an upset win over No. 11 Washington in the second round of the Pac-12 Tournament on March 3...Blocked eight shots over four games in the NCAA Tournament...Oregon was the only team in the 2017 NCAA Tournament to start three freshman - Mallory McGwire, Sabrina Ionescu and Ruthy Hebard.

Daughter of 6-foot-8 former NFL quarterback Dan McGwire and niece of former MLB slugger Mark McGwire...Older sister, 6-foot-2 Morgan, finished her senior season with Santa Clara women's basketball in 2018...Morgan played in 121 games for the Broncos, the most in program history...Also has a younger sister, Gracen.
