2013 — The former walk-on was credited with tackles in four of five appearances, finishing the year with four stops (three assists) . . . Took part in a season-high 12 plays vs. Washington State, where he aided in one takedown . . . The Pac-12 academic all-conference honorable mention selection picked up his lone solo tackle of the year vs. Tennessee . . . Was credited with three tackles (two unassisted) in the 2014 Spring Game . . . Was rewarded for his contributions by being awarded a scholarship for the 2014 season.
2012 — Saw action in career-best five games, benefitting from nine snaps against Tennessee Tech … Enjoyed his first multiple-tackle game of his career with two unassisted tackles in victory over Colorado … Made first collegiate stops in win vs. Arkansas State before adding another two weeks later against the Golden Eagles . . . Earned one of program’s Scout Team awards (defense) for second year in a row . . . Credited with five tackles in team’s 2013 Spring Game . . . Second among linebackers with 500-lb. squat.

BEFORE OREGON — Awarded all-Sky-Em league defensive player of the year as a senior … In 2008 named to first-team all-Sky-Em offense (center) and defense (linebacker) … Placed 3rd at 215 pounds at the Class 4A state wrestling championships as a junior …Second-team all-league at center and linebacker as a junior.
