2018-19 | Sophomore
Posted a 20-7 record in singles play … tied for second on the team in wins … was 13-4 during the dual season playing primarily in the No. 4 position … put together a seven-match winning streak, a run that included a straight-set victory over Jared Pratt of Wisconsin to clinch the Ducks’ 4-3 road win … picked up his first-career win against a ranked opponent with a 6-4, 6-1 win over No. 114 Sameer Kumar of Stanford (April 19) … also had Pac-12 victories against Washington and Utah … teamed with Charles Roberts in doubles over the last month of the season … duo picked up a win at the No. 2 spot at the Pac-12 Tournament … FALL: UCSB Classic ‘B’ flight finalist … advanced to the third round of the ITA Northwest Regional tournament … won two matches in the green bracket of the Duck Invitational before a three-set loss to Carlos Donat of Portland in the semifinals.
2017-18 | Freshman
Joined UO in the spring, finishing his freshman season 11-8 in singles play ... played most of the season at the No. 6 position, going 8-4 ... won his first two singles matches as a Duck, dropping only one game in his four sets played during UO's season-opening doubleheader against Idaho and Portland State ... had a six-match winning streak from March 15 to Apr. 14 ... clinched UO's first ranked win of the spring season with a huge three set victory over No. 49 Washington's Alexis Alvares, 4-6, 7-6(4), 6-4 ... played in two doubles matches, partnering with Akihiro Tanaka each time ... defeated duos from Portland State and Northern Arizona by scores of 6-1 and 7-6(1), respectively.

Comes to Eugene after a stellar senior season at Aioi Gakuin high school where he went undefeated at No. 1 singles ... won the doubles crown during the individual nationals tournament making it all the way to the quarterfinals in singles play ... represented Japan twice during his juniors career earning a third place finish in 2012's World Junior Tennis Finals ... in 2014, he rejoined the national team for the junior Davis Cup tournament finishing in fourth place.
