All-Pac-12 first team honoree ... second team Pac-12 all-academic selection ... finished the year 26-7 overall in singles play ... played the entire season at the No. 1 position with an 18-5 record ... went 12-6 against nationally ranked opponents ... had a seven-match winning streak from Feb. 4 to March 4 ... named the Pac-12 Player of the Week after opening the spring season 2-0 ... clinched both of Oregon's first-ever wins against California ... defeated No. 58 Billy Griffith, 7-6(2), 7-5, in the Ducks' regular season finale to clinch the program-first victory and a No. 4 seed in the Pac-12 Tournament ... repeated the same performance less than a week later, downing Griffith, 6-3, 6-7, 6-3, to clinch an opening round victory over Cal in the Pac-12 Tournament ... selected to play in the NCAA Singles Championship Tournament before being forced to withdraw due to injury ... finished the year ranked No. 22 in the final ITA singles poll ... partnered with Cormac Clissold for a 15-8 doubles record ... split time between the No. 1 and No. 2 positions, going 4-6 and 10-2 at each spot, respectively. Nishimura, 6-2, 7-6(7), in the finals ... reached the ITA Fall National Championship consolation finals with Clissold, falling to Chase Perez-Blanco and Oliver Crawford of Florida.

All-Pac-12 first-team selection ... Pac-12 all-academic first-team honoree ... Shattered Oregon single-season wins record with 30-7 overall record in singles ... Became first Duck since 2005 to qualify for the NCAA Singles Tournament before falling in the first round to the No. 1 overall seed ... Won 18 straight matches from Nov. 11, 2016, to March 17, 2017, to break the UO record for consecutive singles matches won ... Went 20-4 in dual-match singles, playing every match at the No. 1 spot ... Posted an 8-6 record against ranked opponents, including a 6-4, 6-0 win over No. 10 Tom Fawcett of Stanford on April 18 .... First six wins of the spring came in straight sets ... Did not lose in a dual match until March 18 ... Played ranked opponents in each of final seven singles matches, including three ranked in the top 10 ... In doubles, went 24-6 with partner Cormac Clissold, the second-most wins by a pair in UO single-season history ... Went 14-2 at No. 2 doubles with Clissold. Fall: Competed in three tournaments, including advancing to the second round of the main draw of the ITA All-American Championships ... Compiled a 10-2 singles record during the fall and a 5-1 mark in doubles ... Won the doubles draw of the Duck Invitational with Cormac Clissold, and then defeated Clissold to claim the green singles title ... Defeated the No. 31 and No. 50 ranked players during his run at the ITA All-American Championships.
2016 | FRESHMAN
Named All-Pac-12 honorable mention … joined the Ducks for the spring season and stepped in to both the singles and doubles lineup … went 19-6 overall in singles and competed at the top three spots … picked up two wins at No. 3 during the NCAA Tournament, making him the only player in program history to have multiple wins in the Tournament … won his first four singles matches of the season, which included winning two matches at No. 1 … went on an eight-match winning streak between Jan. 31-March 12, helping Oregon reach No. 20 in the ITA team rankings, the highest ever in program history … stepped into doubles at the end of January, competing with Cormac Clissold at No. 3 … after the pair dropped their first match together, they won 15 straight, setting a new school record for consecutive doubles victories.
