Also stood fourth on team in final results in her two prior spring stops, the Ping ASU Invitational (78th, 243) and Duck Invitational at Shadow Hills Country Club (19th, 231), and helped squad place second in the latter event. Her second-best round of the season came in the UNLV Spring Rebel Invitational in March (1-over 73), and had three more two-over 74's in the final four events of her season. Opened fall slate ranked third among Ducks in final standings of the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational (18th-tie, 77-76-80) and helped team to runner-up finish. Also played against West Coast's best in the Stanford Intercollegiate in the fall and had her best round of the tourney in the opener (75). In summer of 2009, was chosen to play on the West Coast-heavy Collegiate All-Star Golf Team that played 11 events in Japan, Hong Kong and South Korea in a four-week stretch in June and July.

THE OREGON DIFFERENCE: Eastick on the Oregon Women's Golf Team (12/09)
Q: How long have you been a Duck fan or wanted to come to Oregon?
FE: “I heard about the University of Oregon about a year before I
committed. I also saw that the school colors were green and yellow and
these colors are also Australia’s colors so I knew this was going to be
hard to refuse an offer to the school! I have been an Oregon fan ever
since.”
Q: When you talk to others about how you love being a Duck, what are the first things you talk about?
FE: “Our football team, how amazing the facilities are and the
atmosphere that u of O brings to every sporting event it’s definitely
like no other.”
Q: Besides athletics, what things initially attracted you to the University?
FE: “The student-athlete academic facilities definitely attracted my parents and I towards the school. “
Q: What things do you remember from your Oregon recruiting trip?
FE: “The team atmosphere when I was introduced to all the players - it was like a little family, and I really liked that.”
Q: What things do the coaches emphasize in the recruiting process?
FE: “They emphasized that playing in the Pac-10 would help me get to the next level.”
Q: In what ways does playing in the nation’s top conference prepare you to be your best?
FE: “It makes you work ten times harder. You know that the other nine
schools in this conference are working just as hard, so it pushes you
to spend another 20 minutes on the range another 30 minutes in the gym.
It definitely makes you focus on doing all the little things right to
be able to play in the best conference in the nation.”
Q: What are the special parts about playing in a college town like Eugene?
FE: “The support within Eugene for athletes is amazing. People are
always interested in what you doing and how everything is. The support
if phenomenal.”
Q: Talk about the team’s chemistry and what sets it apart from other programs?
FE: “Our team is very close. Not only do we practice together, but we
are always hanging out and having a laugh. We all support each other
and only hope the best for one another. I think that is rare when
you’re playing against each other for a spot on the team.”
Q: Are there other unique elements in the University of Oregon athletic department that you didn’t find anywhere else?
FE: “The treatment center is amazing. It definitely invites you in at
any time of the day to grab a drink from the snack bar or see a
trainer, run on the amazing tread mills.”
Q: What’s your major, and what led you to pick it?
FE: “Psychology. I chose it because that’s where I have the most interest, Also, the psychology department is one of the best.”
Q: What extra academic resources do you take advantage of, and how do they help you be your best in the classroom?
FE: “There is a job link service within the U of O that are more than
happy to help make resumes and go through a potential job opportunity
they really prep you for your entry into the working world.”
Q: Do you have a special pride to wearing the ‘O’, and why?
FE: “I definitely have a lot of pride in the 'O'. There is no other
place like Oregon that offers so much for one person. To wear an Oregon
sweatshirt and to represent the ducks and athletics department is an
honor and should never be taken for granted.”
