Continued to improve during her third year with Oregon...appeared in eight games, averaging 2.8 minutes per appearance...saw her most action of the year, playing six minutes off the bench during a 67-56 win over Tulsa (12/19)...scored her first basket of the season against #6 Stanford on Feb. 7... for the second straight year was recognized with the Harry Ritchie Scholar-Athlete Award.

Came off the bench in five games for Oregon...playing against Portland (11/28), Saint Mary’s (11/30), California (2/15), at Washington State (2/22) and against Santa Barbara (3/17) in the second round of the WNIT...totaled three rebounds in those appearances.
FRESHMAN (REDSHIRT) ? 2005-06
Joined the Ducks after the first of the year and practiced with the squad for the remainder of the season ... was formally introduced to the Mac Court experience as a spectator in Oregon’s hard fought loss to Stanford (1/7) before a season-high crowd of 5,062.

Born Maria Luisa Sbrissa on December 17, 1986, in Castelfranco Veneto, Italy ... parents are Steno Sbrissa and Daniela Biliato ... has three sisters, Chiara, Elena and Eleonora, and two brothers, Stefano Giovanni and Isaac ... graduated from Liceo Giorgione high school in 2005 ... plans to major in Physiology...Sbrissa is the first native Italian to play for the Ducks ... she enrolled at the University in January of 2006.
