AS A JUNIOR ? 2007: Appeared in all 19 games, starting 18...third on the team with
23 ground balls, while totaling eight draw controls and seven caused
turnovers... second on the team with a 3.69 gpa and was chosen for the MPSF
All-Academic Team for the second straight year.
AS A SOPHOMORE ? 2006: Started all of the Ducks’ 19
games...first on team with 59 ground balls...had 34 caused turnovers (tied for
first on the team) and 12 draw controls...one of two to earn a spot on the 2006
Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Conference Team...second best GPA (3.70)
on team and chosen for MPSF All-Academic Team.
AS A FRESHMAN ? 2005: Made appearances in 16 of Oregon’s 17
games, starting eight...scored five goals on 13 shots including a two-goal
performance at LaSalle (March 23)...tallied another goal in a win at Davidson
(April 2)...recorded 19 ground balls, seven draw controls and had nine caused
turnovers...picked as one of three captains for the spring 2006 season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Helped lead Hereford to three state
championships...an all-division honoree senior year...selected as the North
County News Athlete of the Year...competed on NBC club team for three years,
going undefeated in 2003 and 2004...also lettered in soccer three times (two-time
co-captain) and basketball twice.. National Honor Society member...honorable
mention Distinguished Scholar recipient.
PERSONAL: Born Carrie Windsor Bateman on June 22, 1986, in
Baltimore ... has three brothers and three sisters ... brother, Rob, played
lacrosse at Penn State from 2001-04 and sister, Mary, played lacrosse at
Salisbury (Md.) College...sister, Elise plays at St. Mary’s College of Md.
