
Simmons Named All-Big Ten Second Team

EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon lacrosse senior Anna Simmons has been selected as an all-Big Ten second-team honoree, the conference announced on Tuesday. The midfielder was also named the team's Big Ten Sportsmanship Award recipient.Â
Simmons becomes the first Oregon lacrosse player to earn all-Big Ten recognition.Â
Simmons completed a dynamic Oregon career with another strong season, leading the Ducks in goals (23), points (34), draw controls (63), ground balls (27) and caused turnovers (23). She also dished out a career-high 11 assists, second-most on the team.Â
A native of North Bend, Wash., Simmons scored at least one goal in 11 of 16 games in 2026 and had nine multi-goal performances, including six straight to open the season. She was named the Big Ten Midfielder of the Week in each of the season's first two weeks after combining for eight goals, two assists, 18 draw controls, nine caused turnovers and nine ground balls in the first three games.Â
Simmons wraps her Oregon career with 98 goals, 24 assists, 157 draw controls, 87 ground balls and 66 caused turnovers. She ranks fifth in program history in both draw controls and caused turnovers.Â
