
Ducks Go Cold Late

The Sun Devils improve to 9-5 overall and 3-0 in the Pac-10, while the Ducks fall to 7-6 and 1-1.
In the last five minutes, the Sun Devils went on a 17-4 run to close things out.

For the fourth straight game, it was the sharp-shooting and ability to get the basket of sophomore Taylor Lilley that led the Ducks offensively.
Lilley eclipsed the 20-point threshold for the third
consecutive game with a team-high 22. Lilley provided the bulk of
“Definitely our defense picked it up in the second half,” ASU's Lauren Lacey said. ?It's always physical in the Pac-10, and (the conference) has great inside players.”
The Sun Devils were led in the post by Lacey's game-high 23 points. Guard January Briann scored 10 of her own and provided the dish a game-high five times, while Dymond Simon (11) and Noe (10) also finished in double figures.
Lilley opened the game with back-to-back three-pointers, leading the Ducks with eight points in the half.
The Ducks trailed 31-28 at the break, despite committing 14 turnovers in the first 20 minutes.
Oregon next hosts Arizona at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Mac Court.
QUICK QUACKS: Lilley's 10 made field goals ties her career high and is the most for any Oregon player this year...her six rebounds also tied her career high...in two games against top 25 teams this year, the Ducks have committed a combined 53 turnovers.
