In front of a season-best crowd of 3,414,
Oregon improves 13-16 overall and 7-11 in the Pac-10. Oregon State falls to 11-18 and 4-14 in conference.
Freshman forward Ellie Manou scored a season-high 18 points, recording her second consecutive game with double figures. She added six rebounds on a 9-of-14 shooting performance.
“She played a great game,” head coach Bev Smith said of Manou. “She's been developing and evolving in her understanding of the game. Her capabilities and potential have always been there, and we just have to get her to play with more intensity like she did.”
The Ducks head to the State Farm Pac-10 Tournament next week having won three of their last four, including their last two.

With both teams having matched records against opponents throughout the conference standings, the tie breaker would come down to overall winning percentage against all Division I opponents. Oregon would have the better winning percentage between the two programs.
“(The win) gives us momentum,” Chapdelaine said. “We have a decent draw in the tournament. We feel good. We are playing well, and we can go far in the Pac-10 Tournament.”
Junior point guard Tamika Nurse added 16 points for
Junior Tiffany Ducker led Oregon State with 17 points, while Alex Mitchell posted a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds.
The Ducks ended the game on a 13-6 run, and shot 52.0 percent from the floor in the second half.
