Ducks Clip The Century Mark Again

EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon kept its triple-digit streak alive on Sunday afternoon with a 109-65 exhibition victory over Western Oregon at McArthur Court.
The game was the final rehearsal for the Ducks, who will open the season hosting Eastern Washington at 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 16 at McArthur Court.
Once again, the Ducks had four of their starters in double figures guided by sophomores Amanda Johnson and Nia Jackson.
Johnson was menacing in the frontcourt, posting game highs in scoring and rebounding with 25 points and 11 boards. Jackson's quick step helped set the game's high pace, as the point guard sprinted her way to 23 points while posting game highs with six assists and six steals.
The Ducks used a small starting lineup with all three guards; Jackson and seniors Taylor Lilley and Micaela Cocks on the floor at the same time. The trio combined to score 52 points and dish 16 assists.
Cocks shot 7-of-13 from the floor on her way to 16 points, while adding five rebounds and five assists.
After sitting out Tuesday's exhibition with a right ankle sprain, Lilley returned to the floor adding 13 points and five assists, including knocking down three buckets from long distance.
Junior Nicole Canepa added 10 points and six rebounds off the bench.
The Ducks shot 52.7 percent (48-of-91) from the floor and held a 49-35 rebounding advantage.
The Wolves were led by Katie Torland's 20-point effort. Sara Zahler added 15 points and six rebounds, while Hannah Whitsett chipped in 13.
The Ducks forced Western Oregon into 35 turnovers, while limiting their own miscues to 19.
