On the game: “There were some really good things, EJ Singler played really smart, was able to spread the floor.”
“They are a very good team. I thought we battled them tough with those young guys. I thought we got better tonigh, but we still need to get better.”
On SMC's Samhan: “He's a 20 and 10 a game guy. We went at him early and did what we needed to do to get him in foul trouble.”
On Tajuan Porter's injury: “I've been told the best thing to do is let it heal or else he'll be right back to where he is now. I won't know until Wednesday. If he's 95, 100 percent, maybe he goes.”
On Malcom Armstead: “We felt with Malcolm, you can put him in the pick and roll. He's such a pass first point guard.”
