Oregon – Arkansas-Pine Bluff postgame quotes
Dec. 28, 2009

Head Coach Ernie Kent
On tonight's win: “I thought we needed a half to get out legs under us. What a second half it was for us. Michael Dunigan is coming on in practice and then in games. And Garrett (Sim), what a great moment for him; it was special. Garrett's play was big.”
On Tajuan Porter: “We saw in practice that he started to work the kinks out. He did a nice job getting down the floor. I was worried, but once he got going he played well. Where he really got going was defensively.”
On team improvement: “When we run more, we get more easy buckets. Our team is gaining steam and momentum. A road win would be huge!”
On Pac-10 title up for grabs: “We have had our share of injuries early on. The title is wide open in my opinion, but we have to protect our home floor. It will be extremely competitive from within.”
--------------------------------------------------------
Michael Dunigan – So, C
On what went well tonight: “It all starts in practice. We came in with energy. The first half we were sluggish, but the second half we got up and down the floor.”
On consistency: “I am doing better on offense, but there is a lot more I can do on defense.”
On ready for Pac-10 games: “We will take it 1 game at a time.”
On Garrett's dunk: “We have all been waiting for him to do that. He finally got his wings.”
On improvement as a team: “We have all grown as a team, and with TP (Tajuan Porter) back we will be good. He is one of our go to guys.”
--------------------------------------------------------
Tajuan Porter – Sr., G
On his health: “I am still favoring it a bit, but it is a lot better than what it was like a couple weeks ago. I am able to explode and maneuver a lot better.”
On passing former Oregon player Aaron Brooks to move into the top 10 career points: “Aaron is a great player. I have to continue to move on. I have to leave my mark and finish on a good note.”
On Pac-10 games starting: “We are going in with a lot of momentum, we are working hard, and we keep moving forward.”
“Right now we are ready; we have about 14 games under out belt.”
