'Zona hands Oregon men's basketball another loss

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) - Junior forward Chase Budinger scored 25 points and junior forward Jordan Hill had 24 points as Arizona used a strong second half to beat Oregon 87-77 on Saturday before 8,012 at McArthur Court.
The win clinched the first road sweep of the season for the Wildcats, who were 0-6 in road games before beating Oregon State on Thursday.
Junior guard Tajuan Porter led the way for Oregon (6-17, 0-11 Pac-10) with a team-high 21 points. Porter hit 5-of-11 from behind the 3-point arc. Freshman Drew Wiley recorded a career-high 18 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the field. Junior forward Joevan Catron finished with nine points and a game-high 11 rebounds. Catron had seven offensive boards in the contest. Sophomore LeKendric Longmire chipped in with 10 points and seven rebounds.
Arizona (16-8, 6-5 Pacific-10 Conference) took control of the game with a 20-4 run that gave it a 65-47 lead with 10:50 remaining. Junior guard Nic Wise, who had 17 points, began the run with a 3-pointer and a running jumper in the lane and Hill capped the run with a one-handed dunk.
Hill scored 15 of his points in the second half, including the 1,000th point of his career. Budinger scored 16 points in the first half to help Arizona take a 37-36 halftime lead. The Wildcats have a winning conference record for the first time this season.
