LOOKING AHEAD AT THE SCHEDULE
The Ducks will return home to face UCLA and USC next week. Thursday night UO will host the Bruins in a game televised by Fox Sports Net. Saturday afternoon the Ducks will battle the Trojans, with that game televised by the Oregon Sports Network on Comcast SportsNet Northwest.
PORTER BREAKS SCHOOL RECORD, PAC-10 RECORDS IN REACH
In the first half of Oregon's 95-64 home win over UC Davis Saturday, Nov. 14, senior guard Tajuan Porter set a new school record for career 3-pointers. He passed Orlando Williams (1991-95) who held the previous mark with 282 made 3-pointers in 112 games. Porter has made 314 (now 314-of-813, .386) in 112 games played.
Porter needs 29 more 3-pointers to break the Pac-10 Conference record held by Arizona's Salim Stoudamire who made 342 career 3-pointers from 2002-05. Next up on the conference list: No. 4 Jason Kapono of UCLA (317, 2000-03) and No. 3 Jason Gardner of Arizona (318, 2000-03). Porter is also on pace to eclipse the Pac-10's 3-point field goals attempted record held by Arizona State's Stevin Smith who took 891 career 3-pointers from 1991-94.
PORTER NINTH IN CAREER SCORING AT OREGON
Senior guard Tajuan Porter recently took over ninth place in career scoring at UO (1,607 points in 112 games). He is 37 points shy of moving into a four-way tie for sixth place with 1,644 points (Stan Love, Fred Jones, Malik Hairston). Ron Lee (1972-76) is UO's all-time leading scorer, recording 2,085 points in 112 career games. If Porter continues to score at his 14.3 ppg clip, he will be on pace to move into fifth place in school history (behind Lee, Luke Jackson, Anthony Taylor and Greg Ballard).
Last season Porter became the 29th player in school history to reach the 1,000-point mark. Porter reached the milestone in the Ducks 84-77 road win over UC Irvine. He is the 10th player to do so under Ernie Kent, and the fifth player in the last four seasons (Brooks, Malik Hairston, Bryce Taylor, Maarty Leunen) to eclipse the figure under Kent's direction.
OTHER CAREER CHARTS PORTER IS MOVING UP
Senior guard Tajuan Porter ranks 10th in school history with 516 career field goals made (522-of-1324, .394). He recently passed Charlie Warren who made 503 field goals in 80 career games. Next up on that list: No. 9 Fred Jones (1998-02) who made 554 field goals in 125 games. Porter (4.7 FG/g) is projected to finish eighth all-time with 592.
Porter needs just three more steals to jump into Oregon's top 10 in that statistical category, now with 89 steals in 112 career games. Next on the list: No. 10 Felton Sealey (1977-81) who had 91 steals in 117 games. Porter has averaged 0.8 steals per game, and is projected to finish with 101 steals - good for ninth place at UO.
DUNIGAN NEARING TOP 10 IN CAREER BLOCKS
Sophomore center Michael Dunigan needs only three more blocked shots to move into UO's top 10. The 6-10 post from Chicago, Ill., has 51 blocks in just 45 career games. With a 1.1 blocks per game average, Dunigan is on pace (with an assumed 75 games remaining) to become the all-time leader in that category with a projected total of 133. Blair Rasmussen (1981-85) ranks first with 116 blocks in 114 career games.
DUCKS CONTINUE REBOUNDING ADVANTAGE
Oregon has a 9-2 record this season when out-rebounding opponents (1-5 when out-rebounded, 0-1 with even number of rebounds). The Ducks have out-rebounded their opponent and lost on two occasions (at Missouri, UO held a 43-35 rebounding advantage; vs. Arizona State with a 36-27 edge). The Ducks have a 247-171 edge in offensive rebounds through 18 games, with that leading to the UO's 253-175 advantage over opponents in second-chance points this season.
LAST TIME OUT: CALIFORNIA 89, OREGON 57
The California Golden Bears shot 49.2 percent from the field in an 89-57 win over Oregon on Thursday night at Haas Pavilion in Berkeley, Calif. The Golden Bears improved to 12-6 overall and 4-2 in Pac-10 Conference play. The Ducks dropped to 10-8 on the season and 2-4 in league action.
Cal's Patrick Christopher scored a game-high 21 points to lead five players in double figures. All of Christopher's points came in the first half. Theo Robertson scored 18 points, while Jerome Randle and Jamal Boykins scored 11 and 10 points respectively. D.J. Seeley added 11 points off the bench.
The Bears, who led 19-15 with 6:26 remaining in the first half, out-scored the Ducks 70-42 over the final 35 minutes of the contest.
Sophomore forward Jeremy Jacob registered a career-high 13 points as the only Duck to score in double figures. Sophomore center Michael Dunigan had nine points and 10 rebounds, just missing his fourth double-double of the season. Sophomore guard Malcolm Armstead added nine points.
UO shot just 38.1 percent from the field (24-of-63), while making a season-low 5.6 percent on 3-point attempts (1-of-18).

DUCKS' BOUNCE-BACK HISTORY
Oregon has produced a winning record following four of the program's 20-loss seasons: 15-10 in 1922-23 (7-24 in 1921-22), 13-11 in 1957-58 (4-21 in 1956-57), 16-10 in 1972-73 (6-20 in 1971-72) and 15-14 in 1989-90 (8-21 in 1988-89). It didn't happen in 1992-93 (10-20 after going 6-21 in 1991-92) and 1993-94 (10-17 after going 10-20 in 1992-93).
Additionally, the only three Ernie Kent teams to finish without a winning record also bounced back. A record of 13-14 in 1997-98 turned into 19-13 and a trip to the NIT Final Four in 1998-99. A mark of 14-14 in 2000-01 turned into 26-9, a Pac-10 championship and the NCAA Elite Eight in 2001-02. The Ducks' 15-18 record in 2005-06 turned into 29-8, a Pac-10 Tournament championship and another NCAA Elite Eight appearance in 2006-07 (GW, 2009).
