On the moments before the winner was announced:
“I asked my team if they had any regrets and they said no. There would not have been disappointment if we wouldn't have won.”
On addressing Natasha Katzaroff's performance tonight after falling in yesterday's meet:
“I had absolutely no hesitation about her today. I knew exactly what she would do. I knew she was mad and that she will never miss that pass again.
On going into half-time with a lead:
“I wanted more separation. When we went back to the locker room we just said we can't let our guard down.”
Oregon Senior Base Tori Mayard
On winning the national championship:
“I feels absolutely amazing! We came here with a goal. We started this program and organization for girls like us who couldn't get the scholarship opportunity to become a student athlete.”
On the anticipation of receiving the final scores:
“I knew they needed to get more than 1.5 points than us, but by the time I did the math they announced it and everyone just went crazy.”

“Oregon is the strongest team in the country. There is no fatigue factor.”
Oregon Freshman Base Natasha Katzaroff
On coming back and competing after falling in yesterday's meet:
“We all make mistakes and we learn from them. I was so happy to come back.”
Maryland Head Coach Jarnell Bonds
On tonight:
“We lost by a tenth of a point. Our girls are disappointed in themselves but I couldn't be prouder of their showing today.”
“I think we executed well. I was the closest match of the NCATA season. Our girls executed well, just not well enough to win the title.
Reflecting on the season:
“We were undefeated all season. We adjusted to this new format. This has been a successful year for us.”
