•Vernon Adams Jr. made his starting debut at the FBS level against his former team after quarterbacking Eastern Washington the past three seasons. The graduate transfer completed 19 of 25 pass attempts for 246 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while rushing 14 times for 94 yards.
•Adams Jr. extended his personal streak of multiple touchdown passes to 27 straight games.
•Royce Freeman rushed for a career-high 180 yards on 21 carries, including three touchdowns. It was the eighth career 100-yard rushing effort and eighth multiple TD game in 16 career appearances for the true sophomore.
•Oregon's 731 yards of total offense ranks second in school history. The Ducks had 772 yards vs. Nicholls in 2013.
•The Ducks cracked the 60-point mark for the first time since last season's opener, when UO scored 62 vs. South Dakota.
•Chris Seisay and Juwaan Williams each had the first interceptions of their respective careers.
•Six true freshmen saw the field: CB Ugo Amadi, LB Kaulana Apelu, RB Taj Griffin, S Fotu Leiato, DT Rex Manu and WR Kirk Merritt.
•The sellout crowd of 58,128 marked the 104th consecutive sellout at Autzen Stadium.
•WR Bralon Addison and LT Tyler Johnstone both returned to starting roles after missing the entire 2014 season due to injury. Addison had three receptions for 24 yards and caught Adams Jr.'s first TD pass as a Duck.
•Next week's game at No. 5 Michigan State will also be the originating site of ESPN's popular College Gameday show.
•The Ducks scored on their first eight trips to the Red Zone before taking a knee on their final trip inside the 20.
•EWU receiver Cooper Kupp set Autzen Stadium marks for receptions (15) and receiving yards (246).
