No. 15 Oregon vs. No. 11 TCU – Alamo Bowl Postgame Notebook Jan. 2, 2016
•Royce Freeman set the UO single-season rushing record with 1,836, breaking LaMichael James' previous mark of 1,805 in 2011. Freeman had 130 yards on 26 carries, including three touchdowns. He finished with 153 total yards from scrimmage, becoming the only FBS player this season to surpass 100 scrimmage yards in every one of his team's games.
•Freeman's three-touchdown performance gave him 19 total scores on the year, tying himself (2014) for fourth on the UO single-season list. He now has 228 career points, good for sixth on the Ducks' all-time list.
•Aidan Schneider capped the best season ever by an Oregon kicker, converting both field goal attempts he took - a pair of career longs of 47 and 44 yards. He finished the year 22 of 24 (91.7%). Schneider's 133 points this season are the most by a UO kicker and rank third overall in a single-season.
•Bralon Addison had five receptions, moving him past Josh Huff (144, 2010-13) and into eighth on the UO career list with 146.
•Charles Nelson played both ways and racked up 138 all-purpose yards, six tackles - including one for loss - while hauling in his second interception of the season. With 120 return yards, he moved into third on the UO single-season kick return chart with 876.
•Oregon saw three offensive starters - QB Vernon Adams Jr., C Matt Hegarty and WR Dwayne Stanford - leave the field in the first half and not return.
•Adams was 13 of 19 for 197 yards and a touchdown, before exiting after a collision while running the ball. He extended his personal streak to 36 straight games with a touchdown pass, including all 10 games he played at Oregon.
•The Ducks had never gone to overtime in 29 previous bowl games. It was UO's third OT game of the season (1-2).
•Rodney Hardrick led the Ducks with eight tackles in his final game in a UO uniform. He was presented with the Alamo Bowl Sportsmanship Award following the game.
•Darren Carrington had a game-high 107 receiving yards on seven catches. 100 of those yards, including a 37-yard TD, came in the opening quarter. The loss marked the first time in 17 games Oregon failed to prevail when Carrington made at least one grab.
•DeForest Buckner had one sack, giving him 18.0 for his stellar career, which is tied for 10th all-time at UO. His 36.0 tackles for loss are ninth-most in a career at Oregon.
•Oregon saw it's string of 10-win seasons end at seven.
•The Ducks are now 1-1 all-time in the Alamo Bowl.
