- With 138 rushing yards, JR RB Royce Freeman moved past Kenjon Barner into second on Oregon's all-time list with 3,664. The 100-yard rushing effort was the 19th of his career, also second all-time to LaMichael James (26, 2009-11).
- Freeman's three touchdowns moved him into a tie for fourth on UO's all-time TD list with Derek Loville, who had 45 from 1986-89.
- Freeman moved into ninth on the Ducks' career list for all-purpose yards with 4,217.
- Freeman recorded the 16th multi-touchdown rushing performance of his career.
- Oregon scored at least 20 points for the 35th straight game, the longest such streak in the FBS (tied with TCU).
- JR WR Charles Nelson became the first player in UO history to have two 100-yard kickoff returns in a career. He finished with a game-high 240 all-purpose yards (190 KR, 7 rush, 38 rec).
- True freshman QB Justin Herbert led the first drive of his career, leading the Ducks 85 yards in 8 plays and capping it with his own 4-yard TD run - his first as a collegian. On the drive, he completed 3 of 5 attempts for 70 yards, including a 63-yarder to FR TE Jacob Breeland.
- Breeland made the first two receptions of his career and led UO with 70 receiving yards.
- The Ducks failed to record a passing touchdown for the second time this season. UO's FBS record streak of 82 games with a passing TD ended at Nebraska on Sept. 17.
- Oregon has not had a record below .500 since the Ducks were 0-1 in 2011. The last time UO had a sub .500 record five games into a season was 2004 (2-3).
- Oregon allowed a safety for the first time since Oct. 22, 2011 at Colorado.
- The Ducks had not lost a conference road game since Nov. 23, 2013 at Arizona.
- The Ducks had won their first Pac-12 road game of the year in 16 consecutive seasons before Saturday. UO's last loss on its opening conference road trip was at Washington in 1999.
- UO's three-game losing streak is its longest since 2007, when the Ducks dropped their final three regular season contests.
- Oregon is 0-2 in conference play for the first time since 1997.
- The Cougars have now defeated the Ducks in consecutive seasons for the first time since 2002-03.
- The Ducks' 14-point halftime deficit was their largest of the season and most since trailing Utah, 27-13, at the half Sept. 26, 2015.
