The newly ranked Ducks will put their four-game winning streak on the line at Ole Miss on Wednesday.
OXFORD, Miss. - The No. 25 ranked Oregon women's basketball team will square off at 4 PM PT on Wednesday against Ole Miss.Â
#25 OREGON DUCKS (8-1, Pac-12)

Notable: Freshman guard Sabrina Ionescu has posted two triple-doubles over the last three games. Over her last three games she is averaging 16 points, 9.7 rebounds and nine assists. The Ducks, as a team, are ranked this week for the first time since the 2003-04 season. Oregon ranks 21st in the nation in scoring (81.6 ppg) and 10th in shooting (48.7 percent). The Ducks are 15th in rebounding margin (+11.9). Junior guard Lexi Bando ranks 11th in the country, shooting 52.1 percent (25-of-48) from three.Â

Madinah Muhammad leads the Rebels with 14.1 points per game while Shequila Joseph grabs a team-best 6.4 rebounds per game. Ole Miss ranks fourth in the country in scoring defense (49.7 ppg) and eighth in field goal percentage defense (31.7 percent).Â

The Ducks and Rebels are meeting for the first time in women's basketball. In men's basketball, most recently the two schools split a series in 2013-14 and 2014-15. In Oxford on Dec. 8, 2013, the Ducks won, 115-105. Mike Moser had 24 points to lead the Ducks while Johnathan Loyd had 23 points and 15 assists. Marshall Henderson had a career-high 39 points for the Rebels, including 10 three-pointers. In Eugene on Dec. 7, 2014, the Ducks lost to Ole Miss, 79-73. Stefan Moody had a game-high 22 points for Ole Miss while freshman Dillon Brooks had 21 for the Ducks.Â

Oregon is ranked No. 25 this week in the AP top-25 poll, its first time in the national rankings since Dec. 15, 2003. The Ducks are not ranked in the coaches poll.Â

The Ducks will play both major Mississippi schools this season. Oregon fell, 75-63, to then-No. 7 ranked Mississippi State on Nov. 25 at the Rainbow Wahine Showdown in Honolulu. Victoria Vivians had 17 points for the Bulldogs while Sabrina Ionescu and Lexi Bando each had 14 to lead the Ducks. Oregon will look to get a split in the series on Wednesday against Ole Miss.Â
IONESCU IN THE PAC-12 RANKINGS
Freshman guard Sabrina Ionescu is the only player in the Pac-12 to be ranked in the top-12 of the league in points, rebounds and assists. Ionescu is 12th in the conference in points (14.3), ninth in rebounds (7.0) and fifth in assists (5.7).Â

The Ducks have played every healthy and/or eligible players in all nine games thus far. Â No player is averaging more than 27 minutes per game.
