27 Named Pac-12 All-Academic

SAN FRANCISCO – The Pac-12 announced its Track and Field All-Academic teams and 27 Oregon student-athletes were recognized for their hard work in the classroom.
Fourteen men earned academic distinction from the conference, with Jackson Darland, Bradley Laubacher, Chris Mulverhill and Sam Prakel named to the All-Academic First Team. T.J. Brassil, Matthew Melancon and Cullen Prena were named to the second team.
On the women's side, Alli Cash and Maggie Schmaedick earned second-team recognition.
To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.
The group of seven men's athletes to receive an honorable mention consisted of Devon Allen, Marcus Chambers, Joe Delgado, Bryan Fernandez, Grant Grosvenor, Matt Hidalgo and Blake Kemp. Women to receive honorable mention were Emma Abrahamson, Frida Berge, Lindsay Crevoiserat, Molly Grabill, Annie Leblanc, Ashley Maton, Madeline Middlebrooks, Brianna Nerud, Raevyn Rogers, Madelayne Varela and Annie Whitfield.
