Ducks Bring 78 Players To Nebraska
09/17/16 | @GoDucksMoseley
Oregon's travel squad includes six quarterbacks and big groups of linemen, although TE Johnny Mundt and DL Jalen Jelks did not travel.
The Oregon football team will have 78 players on its sideline when the Ducks face Nebraska (12:30 p.m. PT, ABC).
The Ducks brought all six quarterbacks on the roster, and robust groups of 13 offensive linemen and 14 defensive linemen. The Pac-12 limits road teams to 70 players for conference games, but that rule isn't in play for nonconference games.
Among regulars who didn't travel are tight end Johnny Mundt, who was not in uniform last week against Virginia, and defensive end Jalen Jelks. Linebacker Johnny Ragin III is on hand after not playing against the Cavaliers, and expected to start.
Middle linebacker A.J. Hotchkins also is on hand, after being carted off the field last week. The starter at that position is expected to be a game-time decision, between Hotchkins and Jimmie Swain. Oregon's starting secondary is projected to feature Arrion Springs and Tyree Robinson at cornerback, with Brenden Schooler and Khalil Oliver at safety.
The travel squad includes several true freshmen who have yet to play, including QB Terry Wilson Jr., WR Dillon Mitchell, WR Tristen Wallace, DL Hunter Kampmoyer and LB Eric Briscoe Jr.

Shortly after the Ducks arrived at Memorial Stadium, placekicker Matt Wogan and UO coach Mark Helfrich placed a bouquet of flowers at the 27-yard line of Tom Osborne Field. The bouquet was in memory of Nebraska punter Sam Foltz, who wore No. 27 and passed away in an auto wreck in July.
