For the fifth straight year, the NCAA Outdoor Championships will be held at Hayward Field. Competition will run from Wednesday, June 7, to Saturday, June 10. Tickets are for all sessions only, and will go on sale at $116 for reserved seats and $80 for general admission.
"It will be an exciting outdoor track and field season at Hayward Field in 2017," said UO associate athletic director Vin Lananna, "culminating with the NCAA Men's and Women's Championships, the 15th time in history and fifth consecutive year in which collegiate athletes from all across the country make Hayward Field their dream destination."
The NCAA Championships will begin with men's semifinals in the track events on Wednesday, as well as finals in the 10,000 meters, along with finals for men's field events. The schedule on Thursday will feature the same six finals for the women, and the men's decathlon will run the first two days. Friday and Saturday will feature all remaining finals and the crowning of the men's (Friday) and women's (Saturday) national champions, and the women's heptathlon will take place over the final two days.
