Sprint Work at Jim Bush Legends Meet

The UCLA-hosted meet begins Saturday at 11 a.m. with the 4x100 relays.
EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon track and field team is sending members of its sprints and combined events groups to Los Angeles this weekend for the Jim Bush Legends Invitational. Saturday's meet will also mark the outdoor opener for national indoor champions Liisa-Maria Lusti (pentathlon) and Aaliyah McCormick (60-meter hurdles).
Lusti will compete for the short hurdles while McCormick will get some speed work in over 100 and 200 meters. McCormick and fellow UO national champions Peyton Bair and Wilma Nielsen were also part of the post-NCAA Indoor release. The mention for McCormick is her debut appearance. The Oregon senior is also the reigning NCAA champion in the 100-meter hurdles.

3:40 p.m. – w200 Meters: Niya Clayton, Lily Jones, Aaliyah McCormick, Brazil Neal, Amirah Shaheed
Two-time Big Ten runner-up Kai Graves-Blanks will join Aiden Carter in the 110-meter hurdles. Graves-Blanks carries a lifetime best of 13.51 from last year's Big Ten Championships while he was competing for Iowa.
Ticket packages for the Ducks' outdoor home schedule are currently on sale. The team is set to host the Oregon Team Invitational (April 18) and Oregon Twilight (May 8), along with the NCAA Championships in June.
