Ducks Travel 67 To Arizona State
09/23/17 | @GoDucksMoseley
Nose tackle Austin Faoliu and safety Khalil Oliver rejoined the travel squad after missing games earlier this month.
TEMPE, Ariz. — The Ducks added a starting defensive lineman and another weapon on offense to their travel squad for Saturday's game at Arizona State.
Oregon (3-0) faces the Sun Devils (1-2) in a 7:01 p.m. kickoff. Pac-12 Networks is televising the game.
True freshman defensive lineman Austin Faoliu, who started the first two games of the season but didn't travel to Wyoming last week, is with the Ducks in Arizona and expected to return Saturday night. Jordon Scott, another true freshman, started at nose guard in place of Faoliu against the Cowboys, and could be in line for the assignment again at ASU.
The UO defense also welcomes back Khalil Oliver, a junior safety who was injured in the season-opening victory over Southern Utah. Oliver also did not travel to Wyoming; he replaced Juwaan Williams on the travel party this week, and outside linebacker Gus Cumberlander also did not make the trip to Arizona.
Offensively, the Ducks added another true freshman in receiver Jaylon Redd. He's one of four true freshman on the trip to ASU who has yet to play, joining three members of the travel party to Wyoming — quarterback Braxton Burmeister, running back Darrian Felix and offensive lineman Alex Forsyth.
Receiver Charles Nelson, who was injured in the first half at Wyoming and wasn't in pads after halftime, did make the trip to ASU.
