DALLAS – Oregon couldn't put together a final round charge shot a 9-over par 293 on Tuesday at the Trinity Forest Invitational. The Ducks finished the week 8-over par and in eighth place.

Ryan Gronlund led the way for the Ducks, shooting an even-par 71 to finish 10th in the individual race at 2-under par for the tournament.

How it Happened: Gronlund had a steady final round shooting even-par on both nines, making two birdies and two bogeys to secure a top-10 finish.

Norman Xiong opened the day with back-to-back bogeys and shot a 2-over par 37 on the front nine but bounced back with a 2-under par 34 on the back nine to finish the day even-par. Xiong went 5-over par for the tournament and finished in a tie for 42nd.

Edwin Yi began the day 4-under par for the tournament and two shots off the lead but shot a 3-over par 74 to close the week tied for 11th at 1-under par.

Donald Kay turned in a final round of 7-over par 78 and Sam Foust shot a 6-over par 77 to close out the scoring for the Ducks. Kymer Li shot an 8-over par 79 to wrap up his Oregon debut.

Notable: Gronlund turned in his fourth career top-10 finish … Gronlund has finished even par or better in three consecutive tournaments since the 2017 NCAA Championships … Yi had his best individual finish since a he finished fifth at the 2017 Duck Invitational … The Ducks had their streak of 15 straight top-five team finishes snapped.
