FORT WORTH, Texas – Oregon shot 11 over in round two of the Nike Collegiate Invitational at Colonial Country Club Monday, and dropped into 12th place at 16 over heading into the final round.

How it Happened: Sophomore Donald Kay was tied for the low round of the day for the Ducks, shooting a 2-over 72 to move into a tie for 24th. He bogeyed two of his first three holes but got one shot back with a birdie at the par-3 eighth hole to shoot 1 over going out, before making two bogeys and a birdie on the back nine.

Sam Foust also shot 72 and is 5 over for the tournament in a tie for 32nd. He made three straight bogeys at holes three through five but responded with birdies at the par-3 eighth and 13th holes. Foust dropped another shot at 14 before finishing with four consecutive pars to shoot even coming in.

Ryan Gronlund finished with a 3-over 73 and is tied for 49th, Edwin Yi made nine pars on his front nine but struggled coming home to shot 4 over and Craig Ronne turned in a 5-over 75.

Duke holds the 36-hole by two shots at 1 under while eight players are tied for the individual lead at 3 under.
