Laurent is making his third appearance at the ITA All-American tournament including last year's trip to the semifinals that featured a win over the No. 8 seed in the round of 16. With his run, Laurent became the first player in program history to advance to the All-American Sweet 16.
Â
In his debut at the ITA All-American in 2016, the Montpellier, France, native advanced to the second round of the main draw after picking up three wins to work through the qualifying rounds.
Â
Laurent enters his senior campaign with a 75-20 career singles record which puts him 18 wins shy of the program's top mark of 93 victories by Jayson Amos (2013-17).
Â
Players will be competing to secure a berth into the 2018 Oracle ITA National Fall Championships (Nov. 7-11) in Surprise, Ariz. Singles quarterfinalists in the main draw and finalists in the consolation draw will clinch a spot at the end-of-fall national event.
