Ducks Look to Finish Strong at Pac-12s

The Oregon women’s golf team moved up one place in the field after shooting 10 over in the second round of the Pac-12 Championships on Monday
SEATTLE – The Oregon women's golf team moved up one place in the field after shooting 10 over in the second round of the Pac-12 Championships at the Broadmoor Country Club on Monday.
How it Happened: The Ducks are sitting in 10th place heading into the final round of the Pac-12 Championships after shooting a 10-over 298 to put them at 25 over for the tournament. No. 1 UCLA currently leads the field at 3 under overall.
The Ducks were led by sophomore Amy Matsuoka in the second round. Matsuoka carded three birdies throughout the day, finishing the round at 1 over. She is currently 7 over for the tournament.
Freshman Madi Daniel seemed to find her rhythm on the course during day two of the tournament. Daniel dropped four birdies throughout the round to finish the day at 2 over, putting her at 13 over overall.
Junior Petra Salko recorded five birdies to put her at 3 over on the day and 7 over for the tournament.
Junior Kathleen Scavo finished the second round with two birdies to finish at 4 over, and currently leads the Ducks with an overall score of 6-over 150.
Freshman Alexis Phadungmartvorakul capped off the lineup with an 8 over performance.
