Ducks Shine in NBA Summer League

Oregon had six former players appear in the 2018 NBA Summer League, including three players fresh off of the Ducks' 2017-18 roster. Elijah Brown, Troy Brown Jr. and MiKyle McIntosh all made their professional debuts in the league, joining second-year pros Jordan Bell, Chris Boucher and Tyler Dorsey.
Troy Brown Jr., Washington Wizards
The Las Vegas native, and 15th overall draft pick, exceeded expectations during his professional debut. During his return home, Brown Jr. appeared in all five of Washington's games, averaging 18.4 points per game, 6.8 rebounds per game and 2.0 assists per game. Brown Jr.'s best performance came against the San Antonio Spurs where he notched a double-double, scoring 21 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. Brown Jr. also dropped an impressive 25 points in Washington's final game against the Dallas Mavericks, his third 20-point game in Las Vegas.
Chris Boucher, Toronto Raptors
The Canadian native settled in nicely with the Raptors. UO's single-season shot block leader led Toronto in blocks and rebounds per game, averaging 3.3 and 6.5 per game, respectively. Boucher also averaged an impressive 10.8 points per game. Boucher saved his best performance for last when he recorded 18 points, eight rebounds and four blocks in a tough loss to Cleveland in the quarterfinals.
Jordan Bell and Elijah Brown, Golden State Warriors
Bell did not skip a beat during his transition from the NBA Championships to the NBA Summer League. The 2017 Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year made an appearance in the first two games for Golden State where he filled up the stat sheet, averaging 4.0 points per game, 8.0 rebounds per game, 3.5 assists per game, 2.5 steals per game and 2.5 blocks per game. Brown joined Bell on the Warriors' summer league roster, appearing in all five games for the World Champions. Brown averaged 3.4 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game. Brown's best performance came against the Dallas Mavericks on July 9 where he recorded seven points, one rebound, two assists and two steals.
Tyler Dorsey, Atlanta Hawks
Although only he only played in two games for the Hawks, Dorsey did not disappoint. The second-year pro recorded a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds in Atlanta's first game against the New York Knicks. A few days later, the sharp-shooter knocked down six three-pointers against Indiana to finish with a total of 24 points as well as eight rebounds, five assists and two steals. Dorsey's dynamic games during the 2018 NBA Summer League season helped him become the fifth-highest rebounder in the league, averaging 11.0 rebounds per game.
MiKyle McIntosh, Portland Trail Blazers
McIntosh was with the Blazers' squad throughout their run to the 2018 NBA Summer League championship. Despite receiving limited minutes, McIntosh made the most of his time on the floor for the Blazers. The Canadian recorded two rebounds and two points against Atlanta, one rebound against San Antonio and one rebound against the Los Angeles Lakers in the championship game.
