Ducks Sign Tyrone Riley IV

EUGENE, Ore. –Oregon men's basketball has signed transfer guard Tyrone Riley IV, head coach Dana Altman announced Monday.
Riley spent the last two seasons at San Francisco, where he earned All-WCC Second Team honors as a sophomore in 2025-26 after averaging 12.2 points, 4.8 rebounds 1.2 assists and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 47.2% from the field and 36.8% from three-point range. He started all 31 games and reached double figures a team-leading 20 times, including three 20-point performances. Riley posted a season-high 23 points to go along with four assists, three rebounds and three steals in the conference tournament against Oregon State. He also recorded 22-point outings against Loyola-Chicago and San Diego, and added a 19-point, 11-rebound double-double at Pepperdine. He finished the season with two double-doubles and played 30 or more minutes in 22 games.
As a freshman in 2024-25, Riley was named to the WCC All-Freshman Team after starting all 34 games. He averaged 9.6 points and 6.0 rebounds per game while shooting 50.2% from the field, earning WCC Freshman of the Week honors twice. Riley scored a career-high 28 points on 9-of-13 shooting, including 5-of-6 from three-point range, against Chicago State, and added a 26-point performance versus Cal Poly. He recorded 16 double-figure scoring games and posted two double-doubles, including an 11-point, 11-rebound effort against Gonzaga.

The Watts, California native attended St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy in Downey, California, where he averaged 22.2 points and 9.2 rebounds per game as a senior after posting 25.6 points per contest as a junior.
