No. 5 Ducks Host WSU on Sunday

EUGENE, Ore. - No. 5 ranked Oregon continues it's Pac-12 opening weekend at 3 PM on Sunday with a Pac-12 Networks televised game against Washington State.

Notes: The Ducks have one of the most efficient offenses in the NCAA so far this season. UO's 91.9 points per game ranks second in the NCAA. UO is first in the nation with a 1.98 assist-to-turnover ratio. UO's 10.8 turnovers per game are the second fewest in the NCAA while its 21.3 assists per game rank fifth. Oregon is second in the nation in field goal percentage (52.2%), first in free throw percentage (82.8%) and sixth in three-point percentage (40.8%).

Chanelle Molina, one of three Molina sisters on the WSU roster, is second on the squad averaging 15.7 ppg and leads with 5.7 apg. Alexys Swedlund is shooting 44.2% from three.

- Oregon has won three of its last four meetings with WSU. Ruthy Hebard averaged 27.0 ppg in two wins last year.
- Sabrina Ionescu is the all-time NCAA leader with 14 career triple-doubles (previous: 12, Kyle Collinsworth, BYU)
- Ionescu leads the NCAA in assists per game (8.9 apg) and is second in three-point percentage (50.0%).
- Ruthy Hebard leads the Pac-12 and is fourth in the NCAA, shooting 70.0 percent from the field (84-of-120).
- Erin Boley hit eight threes against Washington, one shy of UO record. She leads the Pac-12 with 43 three-pointers.

Both Sabrina Ionescu and Maite Cazorla are approaching the UO career asissts record. Ionescu has 597 career assists while Cazorla has 593. The program record is 607 assists, set by Lauri Landerholm in 1987. Only 10 players in Pac-12 history have tallied 600+ career assists. Jordin Canada owns the league record with 831.
