Lombardi Announces 2020 Softball Schedule
12/12/19 | Softball
EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon softball team will play 24 games at Jane Sanders Stadium as part of its 2020 regular season schedule, head coach Melyssa Lombardi announced on Thursday.
Â
Oregon's home schedule is headlined by a March 18 exhibition game against former Duck Janie (Takeda) Reed and the USA Women's National Team, as well as a three-game series against defending NCAA champion UCLA to close out the regular season.
Â
In total, the Ducks' 2020 schedule features 18 teams that reached the NCAA Tournament in 2019, five that advanced to Super Regionals and four that competed at the Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City. Oregon will have 16 total games televised on Pac-12 Network.
Â
"This is a challenging schedule," said Lombardi. "We are really going to be tested early on during nonconference play, and that will help get us prepared for our loaded Pac-12 schedule. I'm thrilled that we get to play 24 games in front of the best fans in the nation at The Jane, and hosting Team USA will be an unforgettable experience for everyone involved."
Â
A limited number of reserved season tickets are available for $150, and outfield general admission season tickets are on sale for $100. Single game tickets will go on sale at a later date in early 2020.
