#ProDucks Update - Romero Earns All-Pro Honors

Associate head coach Sydney Romero capped an exceptional AUSL season by being named to the league's All-Pro Team, while #ProDuck Amari Harper finished her rookie season in style.
Following the best season of her professional career, Romero was one of just 10 players to earn all-league status.
She ranked in the AUSL's top 10 in 11 different offensive categories. Romero tied for the league lead in hits (32) and total bases (67). She was also second in the AUSL in RBI (28), doubles (6) and runs (21), third in home runs (9), fourth in batting average (.376) and fifth in slugging percentage (.788).
Harper finished fourth in the league in on-base percentage (.430), aided by being hit by a pitch a league-high 11 times. Harper was fourth on the OKC Spark with a .297 average (19-for-64). She had five doubles, a triple, three home runs and 16 RBI.
Both Romero and Harper played key roles as the Spark finished 13-12 and finished a game behind the Portland Cascade for the league's final playoff spot.
After coming back from breast cancer, Paige Sinicki helped the Cascade earn that final playoff spot with a 14-11 record. After the season, she appeared on ESPN2's Women's Sports Sunday to talk about her journey and recovery.
In six games, Sinicki hit .400 (6-of-15) with a triple and three RBI.
Two other #ProDucks saw action in the AUSL in 2026 during the first half of the season. Elon Butler hit .313 in nine games with the Chicago Bandits with two doubles and a triple. Lyndsey Grein went 2-1 with a 2.28 ERA in seven appearances with the Spark. She allowed six runs (five earned) over 15.1 innings.
Harper and Romero will next play in the AUSL All-Star Cup season that runs between Aug. 8-30. In that competition, new teams are drafted each week and players are awarded points based on team and individual performance. The player who accumulates the most points is the All-Star Cup champion.
