Ducks Move Up in Latest Team Rankings

EUGENE, Ore. – On the heels of strong performances in Albuquerque and Seattle this past weekend, the Oregon track and field team has moved up in Monday's release of the USTFCCCA team poll. The Women of Oregon are up to No. 4 while the Men of Oregon are up seven spots to a season-high No. 12 in the rankings.
As custom with the Week 4 release, all preseason marks were dropped from calculations and are now solely a reflection of results posted during the 2019 indoor season.

Eight of the Ducks' top-20 event rankings were recorded at the team's most recent competitions at the Don Kirby Invitational and Husky Classic; those marks indicated with * in the list above. Among those marks were school-record efforts by Gillespie at 200 meters and Hull at 3,000 meters.
Oregon will next turn its attention to last chance weekend with scheduled meets at Washington and Notre Dame. The team's postseason begins Feb. 22-23 with the MPSF Championships in Seattle before the NCAA Championships (March 8-9) in Birmingham, Ala.
