EUGENE, Ore. - After defeating No. 9 Oregon State on Friday night in Eugene, No. 2 ranked Oregon will go for a Civil War series sweep at 6 PM on Monday in Corvallis.

- The duo has squared off twice, once as freshmen in the Sweet 16 when Slocum was with Maryland and again on Friday in Eugene.
- Ionescu averaged 25 points and 8 assists in the two games, both UO wins.

CIVIL WAR SELLOUT
For the second time in Matthew Knight Arena history, there was a sellout crowd on hand for a women's basketball game. The Ducks sold out the arena for Friday's Civil War showdown with 12,364 in attendance. UO also sold out in their first game at the new arena, on Jan. 23, 2011 against OSU. UO won that matchup, 81-72. There was also one sellout for a women's basketball game at McArthur Court on March 10, 2000 in a 60-53 win vs. OSU.
LAST YEAR VS. OREGON STATE
- Then-No. 7 Oregon and then-No. 18 Oregon State split the Civil War series last season.
- OSU won a thriller in Corvallis, 85-79, in overtime. Sabrina Ionescu buried a three-pointer with six seconds left to tie the game, 75-75, and Mikayla Pivec missed a three at the buzzer to send the game to overtime. UO went scoreless for almost three minutes to open overtime as the Beavers outscored the Ducks, 10-4. Katie McWilliams' three with 15 seconds left put the game away.
- The Ducks got revenge two days later in Eugene, winning 75-63. Oregon used a dominant first half to lead, 40-18, at halftime. OSU cut the lead to 12 at 58-46, with 8:38 left in the fourth quarter but Oregon responded and a Maite Cazorla three put the Ducks up 19 points, 71-52, with 5:05 remaining.
- Ionescu tallied 50 total points, including 35 in Corvallis, and 17 assists in the two games.
- Ruthy Hebard had a big game in Corvallis with 24 points but scored just seven points in Eugene.
