Oregon Falls To Fresno State

LAS VEGAS – The Oregon women's lacrosse team was defeated by Fresno State, 18-10, on Sunday afternoon in the Ducks' final game in Las Vegas.
How It Happened: Attacker Marlee Moon Gaddy put the Ducks on the board with her first goal of the season, after the Bulldogs had taken a 2-0 lead. Midfielders Julia Taylor and Jamie Level added two more goals for the Ducks later in the first half, but it wasn't nearly enough as Oregon went into the break trailing 12-3.
The Ducks scored seven times in the second half to help close the gap. Attacker Shannon Williams led the Ducks with three goals for her second hat trick of the weekend. Attacker Emily Munro scored twice, while midfielders Jen Lanuza and Claire Domshick each collected one goal.
Notables: Williams tallied five points for the Ducks off three goals and two assists … Williams now has at least five points in all three games this season and now has at least one point in 40 consecutive contests dating back to 2016 ... Goalkeeper Rachel Hall registered 17 saves, just one short of the program single-game record, and five ground balls … Oregon won the draw control battle over Fresno State, 16-14 … Level had 10 of Oregon's 16 draw controls.
