TEMPE, Ariz. - After clinching a share of a second straight Pac-12 title on Friday, the Oregon women's basketball team can secure an outright championship with a win at noon on Sunday at No. 21 ranked Arizona State.
KEY STORYLINES
- UO clinched a share of the Pac-12 regular season title and the No. 1 seed in Las Vegas with a win on Friday at Arizona.
- UO is one game up on Stanford in the standings and can seal a second straight outright title with a win at Arizona State.

OREGON'S CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS
- Oregon clinched its fourth Pac-12 title on Friday with a win at Arizona. UO has secured at least a share of the title and can win it outright with a win on Sunday against Arizona State.
- With a win over Arizona in the final game of the regular season last year, the Ducks clinched their first Pac-12 title since the 1999-2000 season. The Ducks won the title outright, ahead of Stanford.
- UO had only won two Pac-10/12 titles in program history prior to last season. The Ducks shared the title in 1998-99 with UCLA when they went 15-3 in conference play. UO won an outright title a year later in 1999-2000 when the Ducks went 14-4 in league games.
- Prior to the Pac-10 adopting women's sports for the 1986-87 season, the Ducks won six league titles in the Northwest Basketball League and the NorPac Conference, including four straight from 1978-79 to 1981-82. The Ducks were 23-2 (the fewest losses in program history) in 1978-79 and went a perfect 11-0 in the NWBL.
GRAVES' CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS
- Graves has won 12 regular season league titles in his career, 10 at Gonzaga and two at Oregon.
- Graves won 10 straight WCC regular season titles while at Gonzaga, stretching from 2005-2014.
- Graves won his first league title at Gonzaga in his
fifth season. He won his first conference title at Oregon in 2018, his fourth season with the Ducks.
- Graves and the Ducks won the first Pac-12 Tournament title in program history in 2018. It was the seventh conference tournament title in Graves' career after also winning six WCC tournament titles in his 14 seasons as head coach at Gonzaga.
NATIONAL AWARD WATCH LISTS
- Both Sabrina Ionescu and Ruthy Hebard were named to the preseason WBCA Wade Trophy watch list on Nov. 20. Satou Sabally was one of six players added to the midseason watch list on Feb. 5, which is 41 players after 35 were named to the preseason list.
- Sabrina Ionescu and Ruthy Hebard were both named to the preseason Wooden Award watch list on Nov. 6. They both made the cut for the late season watch list on Feb. 4, which is 20 players.
- Of the 50 players named to the Naismith Trophy Watch List, three were Ducks. Sabrina Ionescu, Ruthy Hebard and Satou Sabally were all selected to the watch list for the Atlanta Tipoff Club's national player of the year honor. The trio made the cut for the midseason watch list of 30 players on Feb. 12.
- After winning the award a season ago as a sophomore, Sabrina Ionescu has been named to the Nancy Lieberman Award watch list for her junior season. The award is annually presented to the top point guard in the country. She made the cut to the final 10 on Feb. 11.
- The Phoenix Club of Philadelphia presents the Dawn Staley Award each season to the nation's best overall guard. Sabrina Ionescu was named to the award's preseason watch list and then made the cut for the 15-player midseason list on Feb. 11.
- A year after being named the Pac-12 freshman of the year, sophomore Satou Sabally has been named to the watch list for the Cheryl Miller Award, given annually to the nation's top small forward. She made the cut for the final 10 on Feb. 13.
- A year after winning the inaugural Katrina McClain Award for the nation's top power forward, Ruthy Hebard is on the watch list again this season. She made the cut to the final 10 on Feb. 14.
ATTENDANCE LEADERS
Oregon leads the Pac-12, averaging 7,217 fans per home game. The Ducks are averaging over 1,700 more fans per game than second-place Oregon State. Oregon is one of just eight teams in the NCAA averaging 7,000+ fans per game.
FOUR-POINT QUARTERS ARE PRETTY GOOD
- The Ducks gave up just four points to Arizona in the first quarter on Jan. 20. Oregon outscored the Wildcats 31-4 in the first after opening the game on a 20-0 run. UA went 2-of-18 from the floor.
- Oregon's defense also allowed Long Beach State to score just four points in the second quarter of the Ducks' 110-48 win on Dec. 2. LBSU went 2-of-12 from the floor and didn't get to the line once. UO outscored the 49ers 26-4 in the quarter.
A TWO-POINT QUARTER IS BETTER
Oregon shut down Colorado in the first quarter on Feb. 3, holding the Buffs to 0-of-13 shooting. Colorado scored just two points, both coming at the free throw line. Oregon owned a 27-2 lead at the end of the first.
A ZERO POINT QUARTER IS BEST
UO blanked Arizona in the fourth quarter on March 1 in Tucson. The Ducks outscored the Wildcats 19-0 in the fourth as Arizona was 0-of-13 shooting and did not get to the line. Oregon was 9-of-16 shooting in the fourth to blow the game open. Since the NCAA switched from halves for the 2015-16 season, it was the first time the Ducks held a team scoreless in any quarter.
SABRINA FILLS THE STAT SHEET
- Sabrina Ionescu is currently averaging 19.5 points, 7.3 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game, the only player in the NCAA averaging 14+ points, 7+ rebounds and 7+ assists.
- The last time anyone in the NCAA posted a balanced stat line even close to that was in 2014-15, when Cal's Brittany Boyd averaged 13.4 points, 7.7 rebounds and 6.8 assists.
