Record Four Ducks Named All-Pac-12

EUGENE, Ore. - A program record four Oregon women's basketball players have been named all-Pac-12, the conference announced on Tuesday morning.
In a vote of the league's coaches, Sabrina Ionescu, Ruthy Hebard, Satou Sabally and Maite Cazorla were each named all-Pac-12 for the 2018-19 season. Erin Boley, in her first season with the Ducks, was named honorable mention all-Pac-12.
The Ducks had a record three players earn all-league honors last season but topped that this season.
For Ionescu and Hebard, this is their third straight all-league selection. It is the second straight season Cazorla has been named all-league and the first time for Sabally.
Ionescu and Hebard join Jillian Alleyne, Shaquala Williams and Stefanie Kasperski as UO players to be named all-conference three times.
Ionescu is averaging a team-high 19.5 points per game. Her 8.1 assists per rank third in the NCAA. She is the only player in the NCAA averaging better than 15+ points, 7+ rebounds and 7+ assists. Ionescu is also a candidate for Pac-12 player of the year, which will be announced during today's Pac-12 awards show on Pac-12 Network at 5 PM PT. She won the honor last season as a sophomore and could be the first UO player to win it twice.
Hebard has 10 double-doubles this season and is second in the NCAA, shooting 68.5 percent (191-of-279) from the field. She's averaging 15.9 points and 8.9 rebounds per game.
Cazorla is averaging 10.2 points and 4.8 assists per game. She ranks eighth in the NCAA in assist-to-turnover ratio (3.62-to-1). The native of Las Palmas, Spain, has made a program record 138 career starts in a record 138 career games. Cazorla was also named honorable mention all-defensive team.
Sabally is second on the squad, averaging 17.2 points per game to go along with 5.9 rebounds per game. She's tied with Ionescu (43) for the team lead in steals and has a team-high 24 blocked shots. The sophomore is shooting 51.4 percent from the field and 42.8 percent from three. She has a pair of 30+ point games this season.
Boley also has a pair of 30+ point games this year. The sophomore is averaging 13.1 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. The Kentucky native is shooting a blistering 45.5 percent from three, which ranks first in the Pac-12 and fourth in the NCAA this season.
Taylor Chavez was named honorable mention all-freshman. The rookie is averaging 4.5 points in 18.4 minutes per game. She had a big game at USC, with a season-high 14 points on 5-of-8 shooting with six steals and two assists. She has 45 assists this season compared to just 17 turnovers.
The media vote will be announced tomorrow. Oregon opens the Pac-12 Tournament at 2 PM on Friday against the winner of USC vs. Arizona.
