EUGENE, Ore. - Head coach Derek Radley and the Oregon women's golf team earned the No. 7 seed in the Cle Elum Regional, the NCAA announced on Wednesday.
The Ducks are making their 12th straight NCAA Regional appearance, dating back to 2008.
"I'm really excited we get to stay in the Northwest and compete for a spot in the NCAA Championships," Radley said. "We've played in a lot of great tournaments this spring that challenged us and prepared us for the postseason."
The Cle Elum Regional runs from May 6-8 at the Tumble Creek Club, which is 80 miles east of Seattle. Tumble Creek Club opened in 2005 and is a par 71 course.
Oregon is the No. 7 seed among 18 total teams at the Cle Elum Regional. The top six teams advance out of the regional to the NCAA Championships. Oregon has advanced to the NCAA Championships four times in the last 10 years - 2010, 2013, 2016 and 2017. The Ducks were a No. 14 seed in the San Francisco Regional last year and finished 14th.
Oregon is No. 22 in the most recent WGCA top-25 poll and No. 24 in the newest Golfweek rankings. The Ducks are No. 26 in the Golfstat.com rankings.
