05/08/19 | Softball
EUGENE, Ore. – Five members of the Oregon softball team have earned all-Pac-12 honors, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Freshman Jasmine Sievers was named to the all-Pac-12 first team while also landing on the Pac-12 all-freshman and all-defensive teams. Sophomore ace Jordan Dail earned second-team all-conference honors, and both junior Haley Cruse and freshman Allee Bunker received third-team all-Pac-12 recognition. Bunker and infielder Rachel Cid also join Sievers on the Pac-12 all-freshman team.
Jasmine Sievers – First Team All-Pac-12, Pac-12 All-Freshman, Pac-12 All-Defensive
Sievers has been terrific for the Ducks as a freshman, batting .344 while leading the team in slugging percentage (.574), OPS (.974), doubles (14) and extra-base hits (19). Sievers is batting .373 with nine doubles and two home runs over her last 19 games, including a 4-for-4 game against Pac-12 pitcher and player of the year Rachel Garcia and then-No. 1 UCLA on April 13. The Mission Viejo, Calif., native is fifth in the Pac-12 and tied for seventh in UO single-season history with 14 doubles, and she has been excellent defensively as Oregon's starting shortstop.

Jordan Dail – Second Team All-Pac-12
Dail has been a true workhorse in the circle, leading the Pac-12 and ranking second in the nation and ninth in UO single-season history with 232.2 innings pitched. The sophomore is also second in the Pac-12 and No. 7 in program history with 229 strikeouts, and she has been the Pac-12 pitcher of the week twice throughout the season. Dail has also thrown a pair of no-hitters in her first year as a Duck, becoming just the fourth pitcher in program history to throw multiple seven-inning no-hitters in the same season.

Allee Bunker – Third Team All-Pac-12, Pac-12 All-Freshman
Bunker earned spots on the all-Pac-12 third team and Pac-12 all-freshman team with the help of a recent hot streak at the plate, batting .437 with a .459 on-base percentage over the Ducks' last 21 games. The Ducks' second baseman is hitting .348 on the year and a team-best .386 in conference play – good for No. 8 in the Pac-12 – and she leads the team with 17 multi-hit games. The Huntington Beach, Calif., native has been one of the toughest outs in the conference all season, striking out just 10 teams in a team-high 158 at-bats.

Haley Cruse – Third Team All-Pac-12
Cruse landed on the all-Pac-12 third team for the second straight year after leading the Ducks on and off the field in 2019 as Oregon's lone returning starter. Cruse is leading the team with a .350 batting average while ranking fourth in the Pac-12 in walks (29), sixth in stolen bases (13) and ninth in on-base percentage (.464), and she is ninth in the league with a .382 batting average in conference games. The junior has been terrific since returning to the leadoff spot on March 29, batting .417 with a .478 OBP over her last 18 games.

Rachel Cid – Pac-12 All-Freshman
A two-time Pac-12 freshman of the week, Cid joins Bunker and Sievers on the Pac-12 all-freshman squad. Cid has provided a big power bat for the Ducks with 31 RBIs and nine home runs, the most by a UO freshman since Janelle Lindvall had 13 in 2013. Cid hit .750 last weekend in Utah to earn her second freshman of the week honor, raising her batting average 30 points to .268 on the season. Cid has played all 49 games for the Ducks, the first 46 at third base before filling in at shortstop last weekend while Sievers was out with an injury.
